Step One
First, simply click the “Apply Now” button to access The Excel Center’s quick enrollment form. You’ll be asked to submit your first and last name, phone number and email address.
Step Two
After submitting your information, you’ll be invited to attend an information session to learn more about The Excel Center in Roanoke. In this session, you’ll discover what to expect as you work toward your high school diploma and explore potential career paths.
You’ll also learn about student expectations during the eight-week sessions and the free support services available to adult learners. Free services include on-site childcare, transportation assistance, college and career counseling, and job placement assistance.
Step Three
If you’re ready to take the next step, The Excel Center in Roanoke will connect you with a personal life coach to help you define your educational and career goals. The Excel Center’s life coaches are dedicated to helping every student reach their highest potential, both personally and professionally, through one-on-one support that promotes long-term success.
Step Four
To complete your enrollment, you’ll need to submit a few documents. Adult learners must be Virginia residents, so proof of residency is required. Students will also need to request transcripts from the last high school they attended. The Excel Center team will help you gather any additional paperwork needed to complete your application.
Step Five
Congratulations! Once accepted, you’ll begin working toward your high school diploma in the next available session. The Excel Center operates on eight-week terms, with flexible class schedules designed to fit your life.
